Wholesale Terms
At Marakes, each collection is crafted by hand in limited capacity. While we work every day to improve and expand our production workshops, the nature of handcrafted production means our stock can be limited at times. We’re confident you’ll understand this process.
1) Stock & Production Timeline
Some items may be available in stock, in which case we can ship quickly.
In general, orders are dispatched within 2–4 months following order confirmation.
A estimated shipping date is shared with our retailers after the order is placed/confirmed.
2) Production Queue & Shipment Planning
Because production runs on a queue system, certain items may have a waiting list.
If anything may affect the planned shipment, we will inform you in advance.
Upon request, we can arrange split shipments—shipping completed pieces first and sending the remaining pieces once production is finished.

As a B2B wholesale brand, we have a minimum order requirement:
4) Shipping, Customs & Import Fees
Customs procedures and import regulations can vary by country.
As with all B2B systems, shipping and customs/import fees are the buyer’s responsibility.
We provide standard export documentation with the shipment; any country-specific import requirements (permits, declarations, additional documents, etc.) remain the buyer’s responsibility.
5) Payment & Pricing
Unless otherwise stated, all prices are set in EUR.
Payment terms (prepayment / deposit / balance) are confirmed during order approval and shared via proforma invoice.
Bank/transfer fees (if any) may vary depending on the buyer’s bank and payment method.
6) Changes, Cancellations & Production Start
Due to handcrafted production planning:
Once an order has entered production, changes to styles/quantities or cancellations may not always be possible.
We’ll evaluate your request promptly and, when possible, offer alternatives based on the current production stage.
7) Handcrafted Nature & Quality Note
Because each piece is handmade, natural variations in texture, arrangement, and small details may occur. This is the signature of handcrafted work and what makes each piece unique.
8) Delivery & Damage Claims
All orders go through a quality check before dispatch.
If you notice any shipping damage or carton issues upon delivery, please contact us as soon as possible (with photos and, if applicable, a carrier report) so we can support a quick resolution.
